“I grew up in upstate New York as the third of four children (two brothers and a sister.) My family is an extremely tight knit group. My siblings are still my closest friends to this day. My parents placed a great deal of emphasis on both education and participation in athletics. I grew up playing football, basketball, and lacrosse, and played lacrosse throughout my college years. Holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, were incredibly important to my family and were always spent together at our house in Hudson, NY. We spent summers in Cape Cod, Massachusetts and the Adirondack mountains in upstate New York.

I attended college in western Massachusetts. After graduating, I moved to New York City and began a career in finance, first as an investment banker and then as a bond salesman and trader. After three years in New York, I decided to move to the West Coast, and spent the next two years in San Francisco. I love northern California and still return to visit it regularly, but it was too far from the people that mean the most to me.

In 2010, I decided to move back to the East Coast, to be near my family. Rather than moving back to New York City, I decided to move to Albany, which was closer to where I grew up. I met Bailey a few months later. We bought our first house together in 2012 and were married in early 2016.

I am still extremely close with my siblings and have a fantastic group of friends from both high school and college. I’m a huge sports fan, and enjoy attending games with my friends and brothers. Bailey and I both have a deep love of traveling and look forward to sharing that with our future family.

Our families, friends, and life experiences have provided us both with strong bases as we begin our life together and we are beyond excited to start our own family.”
